Opening (Top Notes):
Spicy & herbal: saffron, various warm spices (cardamom, maybe clove), plus possibly henna/ “mehandi” flower facets. There can be a brightish or sharp edge initially.
Heart / Middle:
Rich florals (rose, sometimes jasmine), overlay of woods (sandalwood, oud), resinous notes begin to come in. Often some earthy/herbal notes (vetiver, dry herbs) present.
Base / Dry-down:
Deep woods (sandalwood, agarwood/oud), musk, amber, sometimes an overall smoky or resinous warmth. Long lingering trail. Possibly small hints of sweet or balsamic resin, maybe tobacco in some versions.
